well, everyone, i am incredibly bored and stuck inside thanks to delicious new england rain, so i decided to start up some new internet shenanigans.
i should mention: this is not my first internet-life-chronicling endeavor. kids in the know are well aware i have a livejournal, or "LJ" as it is colloquially named, which i have sporadically maintained since my wee years in middle school; a unique time when, you know, taking pictures of yourself in the mirror and listening to bright eyes and making LJ icons was super hip. (versus now when it is just kind of awkward)
since i no longer have to write closeted lesbian posts about how much i wish i had showtime so that i can watch "the l word" (oh, childhood dreams), i decided that, after 6 1/2 years of weird closeted blogging, it was time to create a space where i could relive my life with people i actually know and converse with. plus, i was never given the option on LJ of having a blog called (essentially) bitchpleasejesus.com, so, +10 points for you, blogspot.
public self-actualization aside, though: i kind of started this blog because i have finally brought my crappy but beautiful digital camera back from the dead, and really want to chronicle life at hahhvahd yahhhd this summer. also, i feel my faves should get a peek as to how this all works out, considering the fact everyone here is 20,000% international and i am 100,000% scared of my ethnicity. but, hey, sometimes i talk to boryana, so i'm getting there!
